Morning, HOG. What's going on?

Not much, I'm about to go grocery shopping. My life is just too exciting for words.

Just for laughs, I tried for tickets to the NYE show in Brooklyn, the AmEx presale started at 10:00. I got in right at 10:00, tried for best available and pulled up a seat in sec. 209. It was only $216. No floor seats available, but they're $500 so I wouldn't have wanted one anyway.

NYC on NYE = No way, not even to see JB.

If I still lived in NY, I'd be as far away from Brooklyn as I could get. I was in NY on NYE for 13 years but I worked there so I had no choice. I only stayed to watch the ball drop in Times Square once. Once was enough.

I lived in Times Square for five years and I wouldn't go back to there or Brooklyn on NYE either. Not even for Jimmy.

I was in NY state last week....beautiful state.
I can't imagine how NYC looks.

I was in NYC once, back in 1964, don't have any plans to go back. I'm not a big city person.

From what I've seen on TV New York is a beautiful state away from NYC.

NYC is awesome and definitely worth a few days visit.

Just not on NYE.

I walked down the bread aisle when I was grocery shopping and one of the bread vendors said hello. That isn't unusual, the store's employees and outside sales people always say hello. But after I walked by he said "Hey, aren't you the guy from NY who was at the beer festival?"

Then I saw a woman wearing this t-shirt.
