Good Morning everybody

Could we change the thread title to "Don't Come Monday"

Good afternoon. I went to the state park yesterday but there were a lot of mosquitoes so I left. The Octoberfest that was postponed from 3 weeks ago because of all the rain was rescheduled for this weekend. I heard 2 commercials on the radio, one said it was Friday and Saturday and the other said it was Saturday and Sunday. When I left the park, I took a ride to see if Octoberfest was sill going on. A lot of the vendors were still there. The stage they set up for live bands was there but there was no music. Most important, the beer truck was gone. What's the point of Octoberfest if there isn't a beer truck?

Good afternoon -- it's sunny here which makes me happy. I'm sitting at my desk which makes me unhappy.

Even though I don't have a local Tilted Kilt restaurant anymore, I still entered their online college football contest. When you enter, they ask you to pick a pub and I picked Wilmington, NC because that's the closest one, but I've never been there. I have 2 email accounts so I entered twice. Through the first 8 weeks of the contest I have 74 points in one of my entries and 68 in the other. That's first and tied for second among all entrants from the Wilmington Tilted Kilt. The account with 74 points is #21 nationwide. Maybe I should have made some bets when I was in Las Vegas.

we started at the hospital with Anne getting blood work,then to the chiropractor for me.I strapped a 20 foot culvert pipe to my boat to get it home and hauled gravel later to make an entry into my lower yard.My old college roommate from Philly dropped by a quick visit.I was treated to salmon patties for supper.

I'm taking some of tomorrow off.
