I was about to have lunch and I realized I was missing a major ingredient, no bread to make a sandwich. I wasn't going to go grocery shopping until tomorrow but I had to go out in the rain. I could have taken some salami and provolone, spread some mustard on it and folded it up but it tastes better between two slices of bread.
I always have crackers in the pantry but wouldn't that be a canapé, not a sandwich?Saltx3 wrote:LIPH wrote:Yes, more rain and a coastal flood advisory.

you could have used crackers but, of course, that means you would have needed crackers in the house.
I sometimes buy 2 loaves of bread and put one in the freezer but they haven't had buy 1 get 1 free in a couple of weeks.springparrot wrote:Afternoon BNers![]()
Larry, you need to keep a small loaf of bread in your freezer for emergencies
yes but if you eat a lot of them it's the same amount of food as a sandwichLIPH wrote:I always have crackers in the pantry but wouldn't that be a canapé, not a sandwich?Saltx3 wrote:LIPH wrote:Yes, more rain and a coastal flood advisory.
