Good morning.
Hooters is doing dress up day today and tomorrow for Halloween. Since tomorrow is college football Saturday, it'll probably be crowded so I think I'll go for lunch today. Maybe my waitress will be a little devil.

Time to go, I have a stop to make before I go to Hooters for lunch. I just got an email from World Market, they're having a 20% off sale on beer and they have a lot of brews my local supermarket doesn't carry.

My waitress at Hooters today - she's supposed to be Tom Cruise in Risky Business. She's much prettier than Tom.
The pirate wench - when I moved here from NY 3 years ago, the first time I went to Hooters for lunch she was my waitress.

Evening, Sang.
Heading to Maine tomorrow in the morning, just until Sunday.
Ready for Halloween? How was the Central Park thing?

Ahhh.....Maine. I always say I want to go back. lol.
Central Park was fun. I didn't stay for the parade for pumpkin flotilla. But my friends and I walked around for a bit. I was thinking about going back on Sunday. But forgot that the marathon is in town.
Halloween is easy here. I dont' think there are kids in my building. I know the neighborhoods kids to go stores, the police precinct and fire house to get their candy. And I'm not heading to the Village parade. No thank you. ha ha.

What's Halloween like in Maine? Do you get lots of kids?

This will be our first one up there but don't expect any trick-or-treaters, it's pretty blueheady up there off season. We'll have a bag of KitKats to eat the next day, er, I mean in case we get a few.
Bet the flotilla included lots of Trumpkins.

Just a bag? Not a few?
I wouldn't be surprised about Trumpkin. I would have loved to see the different versions. lol.

Google it, some of them are really good.
I love the Village parade, it's always pulled straight from the headlines.

I was disappointed the last year I lived in NY, I couldn't go to the Village Halloween parade. If I remember correctly, Hurricane Sandy was just a day or 2 before Halloween and I think the parade was cancelled. Even if it wasn't cancelled, I wouldn't have gone. My branch of the LIRR was out of service for about a week and there was no way I was going to drive into Manhattan. I went 3 years in a row before that, I thought it was great.

Ooook. Isn't a little bit early for fireworks for the Mets game?
Larry, I don't know how you dealt with working in the Rockefeller Center area. It would drive me up the wall during the holidays.
