Morning Bill, Linda & BN!
What was a warm & wet spring like day yesterday has
turned into a chilly & breezy fall like day today.
* sigh * it is Fall so I guess I need to s*** it up...
Happy Friday errybody![battingeyes [smilie=battingeyes.gif]](./images/smilies/battingeyes.gif)

Good, Ms. Molly. Mr. Lime and I both have today off so we are in Maine to do a little work at the house. My sister is up here at her place so we will probably get together with her at some point.springparrot wrote:Hey Lime!!lime rickie wrote:Afternoon, Molly. How's TX?springparrot wrote:Morning BN

This sister has actually had a place up here for years. We were visiting each summer and just came to really love the place and ended up getting our little fixer-upper a few years ago.

Hi All,
A question without notice if I may?
Is the media in the US obsessing over the tragic events in Paris last week?
Here in Oz they just won't stop going on about it, in ever more sensationalist ways. It is at the point where I am actually concerned about the mental state of the editors and producers who are coming up with this tripe.
Add that to the fact that we've had a couple of hot days in a row (who wouda thunk it? Hot days as we head into summer) and it is all a looming Armageddon.
Has the media won its campaign to dumb the entire market down to the level of drooling morons?

hiya Rabbitz,
I would say it is still a huge media event in the states along with lots of other stories about potential threats and "stuff." I watch local news but I just can't tolerate national news any more. I appreciate how my dad felt back in the day when he would decide that "Family time" was way more important than "TV." I so appreciate how he protected me. I am doing the same as much as I can for my kids.

Heya PetalMel,
I am really glad we don't have kids to guide through this.
It does confirm, to me at least, that adopting Parrotheadism as my religious affiliation was a good move
