Three days of +95°F during the week. Beautiful. The garden struggled but, so far, the summer veggie crop looks to have not only survived, but is thriving.

Weekend comes - want to do the washing? No way, rain. Want to work in the garden? No way, rain. Want to sit in a beer garden and enjoy life? No way, rain.

It feels like weeks since we've seen the sun on a weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey lr. Heading upstate to the relatives on T-day.

I was thinking about flying home on Friday (work calls on Saturday). But between the fares and security at the airport (which normally doesn't bother me), train wins. And I'm not in a hurry to get home. The train will take about 7 hours longer than flying.

What are your plans? What's on the menu? What time should we be there?

Train isn't so bad, you can read, surf, sleep, and none of the airport hassles.

We will be home in MA. Mr. Lime always works on Thanksgiving during the day. So I always do a meal for us and the keet in the evening. We definitely eat later than most everyone, around 8pm.
