I'm only working until 2 today then I'm gone until Monday. Not much planned for today but we will start working on the Turkey dinner on Wednesday. Need to get that 21 lb bird ready to go into the roaster !

I thought I bought a 13 lb. bird. But I wasn't wearing my glasses and it's actually 18 lbs.

What a beautiful day at the park. I went to the north end, where I usually don't go because there's a 2 mile stretch of beach that's always crowded in the summer. It was almost empty today so I walked the whole beach up to the jetty, then out to the end of the jetty where I watched pelicans dive bombing the ocean. According to the pedometer app on my phone, I walked 22,136 steps and an estimated 12.86 miles. I need some rest.
