Re: Yay for Friday @ the MSC
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Good morning BN.I'm avoiding some work for now.I carved a small snowman for a fundraiser that needs detail paint.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning.
Garth Brooks is playing at the North Charleston Coliseum in February. I'm not really a fan but I can't say I dislike him. Tickets went on sale at 10:00, I got right in first try and didn't have any problems so I'm going to see Garth for the first time. Now I have to make a hotel reservation, I don't want to drive 2 hours after the show.

Re: Yay for Friday @ the MSC
We don't have much shopping to begin with since our kids are old enough to just want cold hard cash. \
We do have the 2yr old Skeeter to buy for but since he's still rather clueless about Christmas we can get away with 1 toy and then $$ into his savings account.
Kevin's mom is the hardest. She can pretty much buy anything she wants; gives us ideas which we buy and then she never uses; doesn't want gift cards for stores or restaurants because then she "has to go there" and it's plain old silly to give her a check and then have her give us each a check.....sigh.....
At least it's Friday and payday

Morning BNers
Shopping??
Should I be shopping????
I would be shopping, but I have no ideas.
After 40+ years, I have run out of ideas.

I just got back from going for a walk on the beach. I was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a windbreaker. I saw people wearing winter coats, woolen hats, scarves and gloves. It's 57 degrees. Unbelievable.

sounds like my inlaws---I got to the point where I just said I refused to buy them calendar inserts for their desk calendar, white underwear t-shirts, or dust mops (real live items on their "lists") as well as crap they "wanted" but never used, especially when some of it cost over $100. We finally draw names and have a $30 limit which is still a pain in the neck in my opinion but the adult family members quibble about who got who and "did you have so and so last year?" and "can you tell me what you want so I can tell so and so so she can let the person who has you know but they won't buy liquor and they only shop at this and this store so when you give you list you need to consider that..." That is why I buy my own liquor because the holidays would probably put me over the edge without it.
Happy Darn Friday

I'm very easy to shop for at Christmas, I just want Jessica Alba to show up at my door. In the alternative, I'll settle for Jennifer Lawrence.
