Nat'l Whipped Cream Tues @ the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Good Morning Everybody!

This "National" day should keep this thread alive [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

NATIONAL WHIPPED CREAM DAY

There is that little something that adds a final touch to ice cream sundaes, cake, milk shakes, hot cocoa, pie, pudding and many other desserts and it is annually recognized on January 5. This is National Whipped Cream Day.

This holiday falls on the birthday of Reddi-wip founder Aaron “Bunny” Lapin. Aaron who invented Reddi-wip in 1948, was born on January 5, 1914 and died on July 10, 1999.

Good morning ladies.I love whipped cream.By the age of ten,I'd run the mixer to make it and then lick the beaters clean.I doubt many kids get that treat today.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

PS — the woman on the cover of this 50-year old album, Dolores Erickson, is still alive and living in Washington state.  Here's what she looks like now:

National Whipped Cream Day? Don't mind if I do.

BTW, the woman on the Herb Alpert album was actually covered in shaving cream, not whipped cream.

I was going to take a walk in the park after I gave blood but I decided to come home and do laundry instead. I lead such an exciting life.

Whew! Bad,bad morning.I was minutes from leaving for the day when my chimney caught fire from the wood stove.Creosote burns with intense heat, burning down many homes in my area. While waiting for the VFD,I climbed onto the roof and used my fire extinguisher on it.That filled my house with smoke. The firemen arrived and cleaned out the stove and chimney. With no fire damage, they went to leave, when I found the fire rekindled and was blazing again! The chimney was now SCRUBBED clean.
I built the chimney 32 years ago.Someone else will do the rebuild.

Enough of this.What's for supper?
