Good morning. Today is National Argyle Day. I don't have any argyle socks.

It's been raining on and off since I rolled my lazy a$$ out of bed this morning so to paraphrase Oddball from Kelly's Heroes "I'm drinking coffee, listening to music and doing some laundry."

I'm not one of those people who can quote dialogue from movies, even if it's a movie I've seen multiple times, but that line is stuck in my brain forever.

Chill day for a beach walk. But I'm sure that was still more fun than working.

so it took us from 9-4:45 to pick 14 jurors today.....ugh....what a slow process

my goal was to have dinner cleaned up, dishes in the dishwasher, in jammies, and under a blanket by 7. I am pleased to report I made it 12 minutes early


Hoping that the snow and crap they saying is headed out way isn't wasted on a Saturday. Much more helpful to me if it blows in mid Sunday and hangs around long enough to get me a snowday.

I have a frosty beverage in hand, now to decide what to watch. I think the Carolina Hurricanes are playing tonight so maybe I'll watch a hockey game between 2 teams I don't care about.
