I was so sure it was going to be 8/27... Now I have no clue. He tends to do Alpine after Camden, so I guess 9/3 is still possible, but that does seem late. 8/13 is open still. Maybe he'll skip Chicago though and do Alpine 6/25 after he swings through Indiana.

It seems very likely there will be a show on Saturday, June 25th. That week they are in Cincinnati, Cincy, Indy, ........ so somewhere in the midwest seems logical to cap off that 4 date stretch. Chicago or Alpine almost certainly will be June 25th.

Jimmy has played both Chicago and Bristow in September before. So, I wouldn't be surprised if those two shows are September 3rd and 10th, and Alpine be on June 25th.

Jimmy usually does Chicago at the end of June, this has been the same the last few years. I would think a Labor Day weekend show is much more likely. Just my 2 cents.

I have season tickets for Alpine Valley this year. I was unable to get definite information, but when I bought them I was told Alpine will have 5 shows this year. I told them I was hoping Jimmy would return this year. They told me they didn't think I would be disappointed.
Hang in there and don't stop believing pholks!!

I'm thinking Alpine will be on 6/25.
With the other Midwest dates in the area, this will cap the run.

If this is the case, when will the Chicago date be?

It sounds like the Chicago date is going to be 6/25 according to a credible poster on the Chicago forum. Maybe a Labor day show?

Looks like it's Tinley on the 25th. I've seen a few people posting the full size ad in the back of the paper. Labor Day weekend show looks more and more likely unless he completely surprises us with an early August or July date

Jimmy seems to have tried to break-up the Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago and Alpine shows the last couple of years as I suspect they tended to compete with each other to a certain extent. Particularly Indy, Chicago and Alpine. With him not having played Indy last year, I think that his people figured they could place Indy and Chicago together this year. While it would be out of the way to do Alpine in August or very early September, I am going to guess August 13 or September 3 for the Alpine show. Alpine is such a huge venue which should gross a lot of money for him. I don't think he would throw that opportunity away and not play there unless he were to go back to Chicago later in the summer and play Wrigley Field once again (after selling tickets at Tinley for a few months....)

Well, looking at the current schedule, the only day that makes sense is September 3rd. I'm personally very excited about it! I personally think a Labor Day weekend show at Alpine would be epic!

Yes, I was positive it was going to be 8/27, so the Camden announcement threw me for a loop. 08/13 was my next guess- I hadn't thought about a June or September date. I'd like to make reservations at a cute little B&B 20 miles away, but I don't want to be "that person" and reserve 3 different weekends.

So very glad this show will not be 6/25/16!!!
Thank you Jimmy!!!

There's only one person I can think of who may have some inside scoop on the Alpine date.

AMO!!

Amo, are you out there? Any thoughts/hints?

The current schedule for Alpine Valley seems to only be scheduling shows in July:

Dave Mathews Band is playing July 1st and July 2nd

The Dead and Company are playing July 9th and July 10th

July 2nd and July 9th are Saturdays which leaves three Saturday's in July open July 16, July 23 and July 30th

Alpine has hosted September shows in the past, so a Labor Day weekend show isn't out of the question.

Jimmy seems to be taking the month of July off, and he certainly wouldn't schedule a one off show on September 1st, and then not play the following Saturday.

All that seems to me that September 3rd looks like a good bet for Alpine. Now, we'll probably have to wait until April for the official announcement!

September 3 would be great.. but that would mean Jimmy would have 7 shows within the 2 weeks. Doesn't he usually only do shows in 6 date intervals? I'm a little worried..

Zac Brown playing June 25 & 26 at Alpine. I really am starting to think Jimmy is skipping Alpine this year

The two ZBB shows announced today brings Alpine's schedule to six shows. Let's hope Jimmy will be the lucky seventh!

What reason would Jimmy skip Alpine? The only year he missed was 2005, and that was because of the Wrigley shows. Alpine is by far the highest attended show of the tour. I can't think of a good reason Jimmy would skip it.

So Zac is playing Alpine opposite Jimmy at Tinley, and he's playing Fenway opposite Jimmy in Mansfield. Coincidence? Are they feuding? Are they coordinating it so parrotheads can see Jimmy on Saturday and Zac on Sunday? I just thought it was interesting.

Jimmy will not skip Alpine Valley, and again the most likely date will be July 16, July 23, or July 30 as Alpine Valley does not seem to be booking shows outside of July with exception of Zac Brown. The reason Zac is playing Alpine Valley in June is that he already as a number of July shows booked in other locations

Alpine has done 7 shows before. I know they're trying to get more concerts in there, as they should. It's a great venue. I know they've booked everything in June and July so far, but I'm not sure that means Jimmy will be there then. Why group all your concerts into one month? I'd be okay with a July show (as long as it isn't the last weekend) but I still feel like he'll either kick off the fal leg of his tour with a August 13th show or swing back through on September 3rd after hitting Omaha
