When I bought my season tickets I was told there would be 5 shows, possibly 7 for 2016. So I am sure JB will be the last show added this year.

I am very confident that this years show will be Labor Day weekend after the Omaha show.....It is only a matter of time Parrottheads!

Lots of people's summer holidays on hold until Jimmy announces...so come on tell us already

Labor Day weekend......

My only hesitation with Labor Day weekend is that that's the opening of the Tulsa Margaritaville. We haven't been given a specific date (just that it's that weekend), but that's a potential conflict with the Labor Day weekend Alpine date.

Is Labor day the probable weekend? Or is August 13th still a possibility?

I am confident that you can put in Saturday Sept 3rd.....from what I have learned.

Is that just speculation or have you heard something? September 3rd has been my guess, but that's just a guess. August 13th is open, but I'm not sure he would start a fall leg at Alpine, go to New England, and then head back through the Midwest. Going from Omaha to Alpine just seems to make more sense. And Tulsa isn't too far out of the way then if he were to stop by for their Margaritaville opening. Just wish we didn't have to wait for that announcement haha

SWEET!! That works perfectly...just found out I don't work on Labor Day. always good to have an extra day to recover after Alpine!! Especially when it can turn Sunday into a Sunday Funday!!

sorry to say this but Jimmy has shows some place else for Aug 20 & 27 as for Pearl Jam they are at Wrigley this year and The Dead & DMB are are at Alpine... The only Date I can see him doing a show is Labor Day Weekend Sept 5th before A[pine shuts down for the seasons

I have heard from someone I trust very well that Jimmy will be at Alpine Saturday of Labor Day weekend...I booked rooms....Fins Up!

I'm super excited about a Labor Day weekend show.

It's been a few years since Jimmy has played Labor Day weekend.

Alpine is already a huge party, but this will kick it up a notch or two!!

This is great news! It'll be so nice having that long weekend too. I have a feeling it'll be an extra wild year at Alpine.

Any one care to venture a guess as to who his opening act will be this year? I know he's doing some shows with Huey Lewis again, but he's mixing in a few other artists as well. I have to admit that I'm a little envious of the Frisco, TX show pairing ZZ Top and Jimmy.

I saw today the Isle of Iowa PHC posted Shake the Lake for 7/29/16??? Shake the Lake took over from Buffett Bash and it was always the weekend of Buffett... Are we sure it is 9/3?

Alpine will not be left out....Saturday September 3rd will be the day!Have patience and faith Parrottheads....

No the 9/3 date is not set in stone and is only an unconfirmed rumor at this point. Given that Alpine Valley has only booked shows in June and July so far, September seems like a bit of stretch.

So far Alpine Valley has the following shows announced:

Zac Brown - June 25 & 26

Dave Matthews - July 1 & 2

The Dead and Company July 9 & 10

This currently leaves 3 open Saturdays in July at Alpine Valley July 16, July 23, and July 30th. If the information about the Isle of Iowa PHC is accurate then Saturday July 30th could be the date Jimmy is at Alpine

Jimmy doesn't have any shows planned in July, and I really doubt he would do a 'one off' at Alpine.

Sept 3 seems much more likely, as it comes right off the Sept 1 date in Omaha

I know Alpine has had September shows in the past, in fact I saw Aerosmith in mid September.

The last few years, Jimmy has been playing Alpine the last Saturday in August, so a September 3rd show would only be one week later.

Plus, September 3rd is the date on the schedule as it is that makes the most sense by far.

If I was a gambling man, which I am, I would place a large wager on September 3rd being the date.
