Afternoon BNers
Hoping all the peeps in the snow are staying warm and safe.
We have beautiful blue skies and not a cloud in sight.
Yes, I'm bragging

Happy Birthday! We have beautiful blue skies too, but lots of cold white stuff on the ground!

Got done shoveling an hour ago. Took me 4 hours. Driveway and sidewalk. Tired, sore, and feeling my age.
Of course the hardest part is where the plow came through and tossed snow up onto the sidewalk and end
of the driveway. Glad it doesn't happen every year like this.

The temperature is about 15 degrees higher than yesterday and it isn't very windy so I just got back from an almost 2 hour walk on the beach. Now it's time for some food, that handful of jelly beans I grabbed before I went out won't hold me until tomorrow's breakfast.

If they aren't, they should be. Right along with pizza, beer and chocolate.

You can leave out beer, but insert mudslide or pina colada or....well, whatever.

Speaking of pina coladas, I forgot to have one in Jamaica, but they made the best strawberry somethings. Not sure what they were, frozen strawberry in a machine with a BIG helping of rum poured over the top. Ummmmm

After 2 shoveling shifts we find out our County Government employer went from a 2 hr delay to being closed. At least we can sleep in and give these tired sore old muscles a day to recuperate !!
