Good Morning BN.
It's National Homemade Soup Day. So - what's for dinner ?
(and just for Larry since I'm thinking he hasn't prepared any "home-made" soup in a little while........

)

It was really good. Did breasts and bone in skinless thighs. The thighs were better.

A big pot of homemade vegetable soup was made yesterday, good stuff! Plenty left over for today and tomorrow.
TV weather man came on and said it's a gorgeous day, sunny and 45. No....it's not. You can't have 45 and say it's a gorgeous day, it's one or the other. Sunny and 75 is a gorgeous day, not 45.

45 degrees in Florida? It's been 70 here the last 3 days and it's 66 right now. But I wouldn't call today a beautiful day, it's been raining since last night and the forecast is for 1 1/2-2 inches before it stops tonight.

45 and sunny is a gorgeous day here - at least for this time of year. I would even be tempted to break out the flip flops for that

Afternoon BNers
Sunny and bright here, but we had a freeze during the night....brrrrrrr
I cooked 2 lbs of pinto beans yesterday, so we have plenty for dinner tonight.

I make a killer homemade chicken and corn soup. But I'm cooking a roast in the crockpot right now.
And Yay Pittsburgh!

It started raining late yesterday afternoon and it hasn't stopped so I couldn't do anything outdoors. Instead, I finally got around to seeing the new Star Wars movie. I'm not a Star Wars geek so I wasn't all orgasmic looking forward to it but it was entertaining. After the movie, I walked down the block from the theater and went to a new place in town that opened about 3 or 4 weeks ago, The Brass Tap. They claim to have 200 different beers. I may have to go back.
