Venue said that tailgating will be in the VIP parking spots only which are on sale now on TM (

The downside is they have less than 700 spots and they are along Front & Summer Street in the map.

this sounds like a disaster... 700 spots for thousands of parrot heads? just doesn't make sense.

I did some quick math yesterday.
Great Woods 7,500 spots for 19,900 venue (1 for every 2.7 Parrotheads) --- this proposal is 700 spots for 16,000 (1 for every 23)
There is no way this can fly. I also don't see how they can put 700 cars in that area - unless they really cram them in, prohibit, tents and setups.

The residance Inn we booked looks like it has a cool outdoor space. It's a pre party possibility

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Parking lot drama for a Buffett show. One of the first signs that winter is almost over!

They also have "Buffet" spelled wrong when you try to buy the VIP parking. Geez.
It was too much tequila . . . . or not quite enough.

Tickets arrived today. I pay the $3 fee to get the traditional tickets in the mail, I'm old school.

I am breathing a little sigh of relief. Right before my trip to PA, my boss told me that she was cutting me from 40+ hours down to 27. I started applying for positions while I was away. I finally have one 3nd interview set up and waiting for another. Depending on what happens, I might be arriving in Bangor the day of the show. Regardless....I can't wait for this week of shows to get here. I really can't wait to spend time with family.

Thanks darlin!!! It has been a very stressful few weeks. I was told 30 minutes before I started vacation. I already know this won't end well...and I can't wait. That is a crappy thing to do to an employee of 7 years.
