Today is also a full moon so I am guessing the classrooms where i work will be more hoppin' than usual. Those Happy Hour prices may be a welcome sight once the final bus rolls away....
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......
Good morning. This is my 4th National Margarita Day living less than 10 miles away from Margaritaville. Maybe I'll go there today to celebrate for the first time.
I see a Jones Beach date has been announced. I don't know if I'm going to the show but it gives me an excuse to go back to LI and check out the schedules at some of the small clubs I used to go to in NYC, maybe someone good will be playing.
I hope the rain stops before Happy Hour. The way the Broadway At The Beach complex is laid out, you can't park too close to Margaritaville. I don't want to get all wet walking from the parking lot, it'll mess up my 'do.

I probably own an umbrella but I'm not going to bring it to Margaritaville with me. I could wear my waterproof windbreaker, it has a hood. And on that note, it's time to head over there, the festivities start at 4:00.

That was very disappointing. At 5:00 some guy came out with a guitar, sang one verse of It's 5 O'clock Somewhere, told everyone to raise their drinks for a toast and then he left. And the place was half empty. Or half full if you're an optimist.

Wow, that's pretty surprising considering how many mentions this day got on RM. One bartender they interviewed today shared a recipe for a Key Lime Margarita in a graham cracker rimmed glass. I will be trying that one sometime soon.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
