I'm awake and ready to get going on this beautiful day in south central PA.

The windows are open (and I will pay dearly later as it's time for my spring allergies to soon kick in), the sun is shining and I'm a happy person !

Good morning. It's another beautiful day so maybe I'll go to Irish Fest later. Right now I have a more important task to accomplish, emptying the coffeepot.

Morning!
Afternoon!
Evening!
What are you doing here this late?
(Check which ever applies)

Geez I am shocked - I am here for the second day in a row! A bit of a record for recent times.

Now to answer LR's question from yesterday - "Where have you been?". It is a hard one to answer. Mrs Rabz is still a bit crook, work has been busy (we are coming to the end of a refit to one of the frigates, so it is all hands to the pumps and stand by for panic stations).

I have lurked occasionally, but only fleetingly.

How is everyone? I am pleased to read that the snow-bound are no longer prisoners in their own homes!

Now I know politics is a fraught area of discussion, but this is a genuine enquiry. From my viewing platform here in the Antipodes, it seems that you guys in the US are in some sort of electoral fervour. Which seems nice for you. However, the view we are seeing, from afar, is that you guys have lost your minds. Well some of you, at least.

The burning question is, would the US electorate really consider electing Donald Trump to your highest office? Which could be rephrased as "Are you guys nuts?".

Now I have no dog in this fight, and I really don't even know which party he is standing in, nor do I know if he is from the conservative or progressive side of politics, and I freely admit that the coverage here is skewed by PayTV interests, but I truly do not understand why this is even a thing. Is it real? Or is it an elaborate prank the whole US media is playing on the world?

I spoke too soon -- the sun is now hiding behind clouds and the temps have dropped. Time for a sweatshirt :(

Back from Irish Fest. It's a beautiful day but there was no shade at all where they have this thing so I had my 2 beer limit when I have to drive and came home. There were several people strolling around with dogs. One of the dogs was very unique looking so I went over and asked the guy what it was, it's a German shepherd/poodle mix. :o

A place called The American Tap Room had a table set up in the vendor area. I never heard of it so I went over and asked if they had a Myrtle Beach location. They're taking over the space of one of the night clubs at Broadway At The Beach (where Margaritaville is) and they're supposed to open in May. More than 100 different beers. I think I have to go on a reconnaissance mission.

Afternoon BN.

This weather drives me crazy. Sometimes it's too warm so I have to take off my light sweater. Then it gets just windy enough that I have to put it back on.

Is it 5 pm EST yet?

Is it too obvious to say it?

Hid- de ho Clock setters! What a fruitful day! We had the track team help load a small wooden train onto trailers saving old guys and old backs. The train is part of our holiday display. On the way home an eagle took off over the creek. The sight of them always makes my sad eyes happy. I took the boat to the river and caught 6 nice fishys,so life is good today.
Rabz,to answer you.Yes,we are crazy.

Well BP, as a wise man once said - "if we weren't all crazy we'd all go insane...".
