Good morning. It started out as a nice sunny day but it isn't anymore. The forecast is for rain later this afternoon and it looks like the weather guesser guessed right. Oh well, I had stuff to do inside anyway.

I spent the morning downtown in D.C. and Arlington, Va.
Originally planned on paddleboarding on the Potomac River down by the Kennedy Center and Watergate
(the Cherry Blossoms are reaching peak bloom today or tomorrow),
but the waters were just TOO DAMN COLD at sunrise.

So instead I drove over to Arlington National Cemetery as it opened at 8:00am.
I have lived here 30+ years, but until today, never went in to see the eternal flame at JFK's grave,
nor the Tomb of The Unknowns.

But now I have.

Those photos are dynamic! Anne bought me a Trace Atkins' CD. I 'm not a fan,but his song "Arlington" makes me blubber.

Great pics SP, haven't been there for a few years. My mom and dad are there.
