Nat'l Beer Day THURS @ the MSC
Yep -- you see that correctly! It's National Beer Day !
Beer Day is observed annually on April 7th. Celebrate with a pint of pale ale, lager, stout, wheat beer or pale ale. One of the world’s oldest prepared beverages, beer possibly dates back to 9500 BC when cereal was first farmed.
What's your favorite ???

Good morning Linda. There's beer on the menu today! Coffee first.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning BN. No beer for me. Starting off the day with ginger (didn't put enough) and lemon tea.
Hope you have a good one!

Good morning. Opening day for the Pelicans and National Beer Day. I think that means I'm supposed to have a beer at the ball game. Tonight's promotion is Thirsty Thursday, $1 Bud and Bud Light. I don't drink Bud very often but for $1 I can make an exception.

I started beer day early by buy $9 worth of beer at the Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire concert. The sad part is, it was ONE beer.
Who's got the rum?

I'm starting to get emails with birthday offers but the one I wait for patiently every year hasn't made its way to my inbox yet. Yes Hooters, I'm talking to you. Where's the email for my free order of boneless wings for my birthday?

Re: Nat'l Beer Day THURS @ the MSC
It is afternoon on National Beer Day and I am about ready to try a pint of everything. Still cloudy and cold here and my mood is becoming more sullen with each passing cloud. Taking the Keet to get her hair done for her birthday in a few so hopefully getting out of the house will help me feel less grumpy. Even though this weather has been yucky, I have managed to spring clean most of the upstairs so I have a few rooms which are clean.......Ready to open windows to air out the house.
Anyway, have a great day, all. I hope the Hooters birthday coupon shows up soon, Larry. Have fun at the game tonight. A buck a Bud sounds about right....

Re: Nat'l Beer Day THURS @ the MSC
Almost time to head to the ballpark for opening day and $1 beer night. Game time is 7:05 but when they have these beer promotions it runs from 6:00-8:00. I'll get there early enough so I can have my 2 beer limit before 8:00, I have to drive home. The forecast was for rain but it's a beautiful 73 degree day.

Not bad. I think all the o/t is starting to catch up but there's light at the end of that tunnel. So as I wait for warm weather to come (and stay) I enjoy my toasts to national beer daybodypainter wrote:Hiya Andrea! The pain is gone for now. Yes it was at Hershey at the Giant Center. Show was really good and lasted over 3 hours. But Chicago's age is really starting to show.Saltx3 wrote:big john wrote:I started beer day early by buy $9 worth of beer at the Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire concert. The sad part is, it was ONE beer.

Both bands were on stage together, then Earth Wind and Fire did a set, Chicago did a set, and then both bands together again.
