Who's going to Vegas? 10/15/16

Finally we are on to page two. Now is when I start looking at the forecast and keep fingers crossed that we get some good pool weather. We arrive early enough on Friday that we will be poolside all day. Then we need some sunshine for a few hours at the Flamingo pool Saturday.

I got the email today about the pool party - it's going to be at the Flamingo Go Pool again, 11:00-6:00.

Isn't it very crowded at the pool party?

It usually is very crowded, the only beer they sell is Blandshark and the entertainment is Tommy Rocker's band. I've been to a lot of Buffett shows in Las Vegas and I don't get the appeal of Tommy Rocker.

The pool party is pretty crowded but it's a good time. We always stroll around for a couple hours then grab a bit at M'Ville on our way back up to the MGM. Hopefully the weather is nice and warm. Worst part about the party is standing in line to get in. You have to time your drink perfectly to last the duration of the line but no longer because you can't bring anything in to the party. If you go early this may not be a problem but we don't usually get there until about 1:30 and there is always a line.

You mean for the early entry or general admission? It's open to the public, no ticket necessary. I got an email last week with a pass for early entry at 10am. If you want it let me know and I will try to dig it up and email it to you.

Thanks for sending that to me that yesterday. Margaritaville just sent me that email this afternoon. I guess they didn't forget about me after all lol.

It has something to do with the Fins Up Club I think. We never go early enough to use it but I do have a $5 coupon to use in the restaurant/gift shop. That's half a beer or a full bumper sticker!
