Beautiful day and back to work after a weekend in NJ for a baby shower.

What's happening in Ringerville?

Good morning ladies. I'm at breakfast and heading for water. Have a good one polka.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

We are trying to survive the constant rain and keep in mind that in mid-July we will probably be wishing for the constant rain.

I'm busy helping Bridget track down wedding venue info and look for a wedding dress while also getting her & Andrew hooked up with a mortgage broker and realtor since they want to buy a house before the wedding which will be in April, May or June, either a church wedding or a venue wedding, either casual or formal, either 100 or 125 people, either ...........my head is spinning just typing all this :-?

When I still had a job, I used to get 20 vacation days and 5 personal days. In the 10 years after the firm hired me from temp to permanent, I think I took a week off 3, maybe 4, times. The rest of the time I would take a few days here and there. If I was gone for too long I would get bored.

Weeks 1 and 2 were spent in Turkey. I'm going to try to get out and explore the city this week. And get ready for summer.

We just spent 3 days in Austin. I kept an eye out for JB, but guess we don't travel in the same circles.
He didn't even show up for Jerry Jeff's show at Gruene. LOL

I have to share a quick story.

My mom and her organization have raised funds to get an RV and travel around the country registering voters. This is the idea of the president and mom is the 1st Vice President. Riding around on this awesome RV is very cool, everyone is having a great time but I think the real star is the driver. He has driven for everyone I can't even begin to recreate the list of bands he has driven for, Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, at least another 50 bands, politicians, all sorts of people. It's amazing listening to him and where he's been and who he knows.

He has even driven an RV for security for the head Parrot!!! Tomorrow should be more of a photo op day of traveling and riding around. I hope to get some great pictures to share with you all!!!

Sorry I didn't get back sooner on this. It was a wild trip! Doc, the guy driving the bus, has so many great stories! Such an amazing dude. Unfortunately he gave away a guitar pick from the trip before I got on!
