So after years and years (and I mean YEARS) of talking about it, but never actually getting to one, I am going to my first JB concert!!! Tickets have been ordered (VIP through stubhub...Section B, Row B) and the hotel has been booked.

August 25th in Jones Beach.

So as a longtime fan, I'm aware of the tailgating, etc...and as I have seen on all the videos, it looks like a blast!!! However, since this will be my first show, does anyone have any advice in general or any tips in terms of Jones Beach itself?

Penny is right, get on the Who's Going to Jones Beach thread. Plan on getting there EARLY! Mike and I get there by 7 am. The lots fill up fast! But it is so much fun. Live bands all over the place. Hope you have a great time! Look for the Buffett News flag!
