What's your timeline? If you get in on Tuesday we are pre-gaming + Bangor show in Maine and then a bunch of folks are heading from there to GW.

Good morning peoples.

Coastal Carolina University, just up the road in Conway, made it to the College World Series. Last night the Myrtle Beach Pelicans sent out an email about a special ticket offer. If you buy a season ticket plan or any type of group ticket package between midnight last night and midnight tonight, the full price will be refunded if Coastal wins the World Series. Since I bought a partial season ticket plan this season, maybe I'll renew early. You never know. The worst that can happen is they'll have my money 8 months before next season's tickets go on sale.

very, very sore but he talked to the PhyAsst yesterday and was told that's normal and could be several weeks because they move the muscles around to get to the disc/nerve spot...... He actually slept really well last night. It's nice for neither of us to wake up because of his pain

Change of pace.....it is HOT
and no rain

I had a couple of errands to run and I thought I might take a ride to the beach when I was done. It's 90 degrees and the heat index is 97. I changed my mind about going to the beach. On the way home there was a car in front of me with out of state plates - K3YWEST.

I checked with the Pelicans about the free ticket offer if CCU wins the College World Series. It only applies to this season, renewals for next year haven't started yet. I could add to my existing plan, the smallest season ticket plan they have is 6 games. There are 4 more Tuesday home games, I don't have tickets to any of them and Tuesdays are $2 craft beer nights. I could get those 4 plus any 2 others but do I really want to go to 6 more games in July and August, the 2 hottest months of the year?

The next time the Pelicans have a jersey auction at a game I go to, I have to bid on either # 5, 21, 29 or 40. Those 4 players made the Carolina League All-Star team. They had 4 players on the All-Star team last year too and I have jerseys from 3 of them.

We had a really bad storm yesterday, my neighbor's dog was going crazy with all the thunder. About 11:30 in the morning it got so dark I had to turn the lights on. It started again late in the afternoon when I was at my sister's house but by time I left to come home the rain had stopped. We had a little thunder and some really nasty looking clouds about an hour ago but it didn't rain. There was just a story on the 6:00 news about a 14 year old boy who disappeared while swimming in the ocean. The search for him has been temporarily suspended because of lightning over the water.

I'm really getting tired of all the bad news. Seems like every time I turn on the TV or computer, it is everywhere. I know the world isn't giggly and silly, but it would be nice to have a day with some good, happy news.

Oh man that's so sad.

We had a small storm blow through at work. No tornado & I'm ok with that! The guessers are calling for the bad stuff to hit around
8-10pm
