Good morning. Coastal Carolina won last night so the deciding game is tonight. CCU-Arizona, the winner is the College World Series champion. I can't say I'm a fan, I don't follow college baseball, but CCU's campus is about 11 or 12 miles from here and it's been all over the news since they qualified for the World Series 2 weeks ago. I'll be on the couch with a cold beverage cheering them on tonight. With the sound off, the 3 guys ESPN has broadcasting the game are awful.

I got a nice stroll in over lunch. Not too humid here.

It's raining again. Not as bad as yesterday afternoon, I can see the houses across the street.

I'm going to the Pelicans game Saturday night. They have away games July 4-11 so they're having fireworks after both Saturday's and Sunday's games. Saturday is also American Cancer Society Night so I'm going to wear my Strike Out Cancer jersey that I won in one of last year's auctions. Unfortunately it wasn't autographed by the player (it was an online auction instead of at a game) and he was promoted to the Double A team a couple of weeks ago so I can't get him to autograph it this year.

What's everyone doing for the long weekend?

I'm going to the Pelicans game Saturday night. They have away games July 4-11 so they're having fireworks after both Saturday's and Sunday's games. Saturday is also American Cancer Society Night so I'm going to wear my Strike Out Cancer jersey that I won in one of last year's auctions. Not really. I haven't seen too many of the same people at the games I've been to this year. I have 2 different seats, 6 games in 1 seat and 6 games in another, but they're in the same section and only one row apart. The games where I've been in the 5th row, there have been different people in my 4th row seat each time.

On another baseball related note, Coastal Carolina University is playing for the College World Series championship tonight. The first baseball season I lived down here, 2013, Coastal's on campus ballpark was being renovated and they played their home games at the Pelicans ballpark. I think they played some games there in 2014 too. If they win tonight, I wonder if the Pelicans will do anything to honor the team?

Ahoy! I worked outside for hours and painted for 2 hours on the mural. We joined old friends for a dinner out,so I had a fresh audience for my jokes.

evening, all. I am pushing my bedtime to try to get back to some sort of schedule. The past few days of napping has really taken a beating to my sleep schedule.


Another beautiful sunny day here in MIchigan. We really need rain but I am enjoying the sun. Heading Up North for the holiday to camp with friends who are like family. I am really looking forward to it.

Not much to report from CO. Hot day, storms went through, now low 70's. Typical summer day.

Looking forward to a 3 day weekend. Not a lot planned. YAY!!!!!!!!!
