Margaritaville- Times Sq NYC

Well.. it only took, gee how many years? Ages... Looks like its happening..
I have mixed feelings on this just how I've seen quite a few 'theme' spots come and go over the years in Times Sq. I get the $$ thing- just look at Vegas.. he'll clean up regardless.
Personally, like most NYC''rs feelings on any bar/restaurant there, this is 100% for tourists. This will barely, if at all, get locals, which is a shame. Just thinking how NYC can be a better local music spot (not to the extent of Austin, but - its NYC!) - this could have been pretty cool if it was in a non-tourist spot and geared to local bands if this was placed in other parts of the city. Hell, Brooklyn would have been a pretty progressive decision too. Will be interesting...
