Our big event for tonight was going to JCPenney to pick out a "replacement" bed. In February, after 32.5 years of marriage we finally took the big step of buying a king size bed. It was delivered March 5.
About 2 months ago we noticed a significant hump in the middle of the bed as well as dips in the areas where we lay (if you've met Kevin/PA Parrot you can rightfully assume that his side of the bed was dipping more than mine
....anyway....I digress. We called JCP and they sent out a tech. He took pictures and measurements from all angles - sort of like a crime scene investigator (after he completed what I like to call nakedized the bed) and said yep, this is the biggest complaint about king size beds - dips & humps (sounds like some new-fangled dance move to me).
Fast forward 3 weeks and we are told that JCP will replace our bed at no charge. We went out tonight and picked out a new one Same brand but with different innards. Turns out with all the sales, coupons, flashing lights, bells & whistles we are getting $124 back once the new one is brought in.
Moral of the story -- JCP has great customer service when it comes to beds that dip and hump![cheeky-grin [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]](./images/smilies/cheeky-grin.gif)
