It's eerie, but at the same time, sort of cool.

Good morning. It was raining when I woke up this morning, it's a bright sunshiny day now but the forecast is for "heavy rain along the beaches." Since I live less than 3 miles inland, I guess I should expect some wetness later. And not the good kind.

No rain yet but it's thundering, there's some impressive lightning and the wind is picking up. It's also gotten dark enough that I had to turn a light on.
