Jimmy mentioned on the Bing and Bong show the other day that they are playing at the Barclay Center with James Taylor and someone else? I am thinking this is going to be a holiday show? Anyone hear about any more details on this?

I just listened to Bing & Bong from the Las Vegas show, he said it was a CBS Records show with James Taylor and Sarah McLaughlin. I don't know if a CBS Records show means it's an industry only deal or if it's going to be open to the public. He also said he's going to be on the Today Show Dec. 12.

Yeah. I am not sure I would go anyway. We went to the show last year for NYE and Barclays was such a pain to get to and that was from a town about 12 miles outside of the city. It is just so many connections to get there!

Jimmy Buffett is coming to Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center on December 9, 2016.

A Friday night trying to get into Brooklyn would not be fun. From CT it would be a nightmare.

They are giving away tickets every hour on The Fan during Boomer and Carton. I got to think that this means there are plenty of tickets left. My wife was looking into them the other day and I told her not to waste her time. No chance I would go to this show.

If I were a betting man yes , I would imagine most of the show will be holiday music. And I think all 3 performers will do something together.

There is no doubt in my mind that Jimmy and James will perform "Mexico" together. I saw them do that a number of years ago at a charity show that was done at MSG. To me their performance highlighted the difference between the two of them. JB brought a certain level of energy and excitement. JT was smooth and reserved. Personally, I found it a bit awkward.
If I thought there was any chance of us getting "False Echoes" I'd be there in a heartbeat, but I do not think Jimmy will ever do that song live.

They played it together in Detroit in 2014 as well, and I agree TOTALLY with you! Awkward is the proper word. Jimmy & The Reefers wanted to go fast, JT wanted to go slow.....simple as that.
Truth be told, while the scope of the moment seemed awesome, the execution of the song lacked.
