Hi Debbie and Big John. It's only snowed a little here, but we could get 8 inches by Monday. A friend who does landscaping blew her drive with her gas powered leaf blower, the 7 inches we had was that fluffy.

Good morning. I guess I shouldn't complain that it's only 52 degrees.

Cloudy and 50's here, staying inside today, catch up on magazines and crosswords.

hoping for a snow day tomorrow. They said our area of Michigan could get 4-6 inches of snow by the time the system went through overnight tonight. We haven't had any wind and it looks like we have about 4 inches of snow based on the deck railing. The heavy stuff isn't even supposed to start until after 6......

I sure hope so because i haven't done anything for work tomorrow. I might be in trouble if we have school. I have also been a hypocrite mom. I have ridden my kids like an Army Drill Sargent to make sure their work is done today. Tomorrow if we do have a snow day they are going to call my bluff and I will need to think fast on my feet.

Oh well, won't be the first time; won't be the last.

I still have teaching dreams that have me ill prepared. We had 22 years with no snow days. Schools around us shut down, but we stayed open.
