Good morning friends. Monday has arrived once again. But, on a lighter note...it's

NATIONAL STATIC ELECTRICITY DAY
It may be a little shocking, but National Static Electricity Day is January 9.

Static electricity is different from the electrical current carried by wires through a building or transmitted by the electric companies. Static electricity is produced when the positive and negative charges of an atom are out of balance.

Good morning peoples. It's a brisk 27 degrees with a wind chill of 18.

The college football championship game is tonight and it's worth 10 points in the Tilted Kilt Pick 'Em Contest. If I want my free burger I have to get this game right, I need 200 points and I only have 196. Alabama is a 6 1/2 point favorite but I picked Clemson. If Clemson wins, or if Alabama wins by less than 7 points, I get free stuff. :lol:

I went to Mellow Mushroom again because it's New Beer Monday. They were supposed to have something called Pinky Brewster by Palmetto Brewing from Charleston. They hadn't tapped the keg yet. Come on guys, you open at 11:00 and I was there at 1:15. No excuse for that. Now if I want to try Pinky I'll have yo go back tomorrow.
