Before everyone gets excited about the August 19th date, Jimmy's show is the second show that has been announced for that date at GW. Originally that date was going to be REO Speedwagon and Styxx then it wasn't as it was removed without explanation. Until Live Nation and or Ticketmaster post the show the August 19th date is not official.

I am going to take his own web site tour list as a solid bet that it is a confirmed GW date. I think it just takes time to post and cross over to the other sites. I think it will be posted on Ticketmaster and Live Nation soon.

Relax Debbie Downer it's confirmed, REO Speedwagon was bumped for Jimmy Buffett. We told you last week this was happening. Most if not every time in the past the date is first on Margaritaville before it is list on Live Nation. Sometimes LN doesn't post into until days before the show.

The BostonGlobe even has an article about the show. 8pm start time so no opening act.

Everyone relax. url center does a lot on here for everyone. Okay - he may have been wrong about the tour this year but no need for name calling! Again. url center does a lot on here - let's all just relax and be happy that local dates have been announced!

Okay Okay

Not sure why - but the older I get, these concerts mean more and more - never been more on edge about whether he'd play Mansfield. I think that if I had know last year that his GW show was the last it would have somehow changed the outlook for that show. Leading up to this one - with all the doubt and speculation - it was just a ohhhh noooo kind of feeling.
But salvation is here - and we will be there!
