Well by now I'm sure you're aware of Morgan Creek Grill on Isle of Palms. If anyone wants to be close to the water for most of the day before they head over to Daniel island that would be a good place to gather. They have an open-air bar/restaurant upstairs that is covered. They also have an outside tiki bar. But the main plus is it has pretty adequate daytime parking. In the evening there is entertainment and it gets packed. Look it up on Google earth. http://www.morgancreekgrill.com/

And if any of you have connections to The Citadel, The Citadel Beach House on The Isle of Palms is another possibility. Front beach with lots of parking.

I replied to a post of yours about this. I'm sure you don't remember but I crashed your daughter's wedding. Hope y'all are enjoying Charleston.

It's Buffett's first performance in Charleston since 2012 and it will be his first time ever performing at Volvo Car Stadium (formerly Formerly Family Circle Tennis Stadium).

Best. Wedding. Crasher. Ever. Steve! I still have your phone number.

I'm working on the tailgate. I talked to DIG (Daniel Island Grill) today and they were very receptive to having the Lowcountry Parrotheads host a pre-party. It's 5, easy walking, blocks from the venue. They have an outdoor space and we open to having live music.

This was after speaking to the venue again. They said they are inquiring to the city (Daniel Island/Charleston) to allow tailgating. But there is not really a large lot. They have 200 spaces, remote lots and street parking.

I'll keep everyone updated as I find out anymore information.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
