Got word last night about this concert. The ticket prices given are $136/$46 (not including fees).
It's Buffett's first performance in Charleston since 2012 and it will be his first time ever performing at Volvo Car Stadium (formerly Formerly Family Circle Tennis Stadium).

Website says no tailgating and no alcohol...parking lots open one hour prior to gates opening. Any idea if this will be enforced?

If Jimmy doesn't hurry up and give the official announcement for Frisco, I may do this.
Maybe.

There is tons of parking within walking distance in the area with restaurants. We'll figure it out.

Have there ever been any other concerts here. Seems like an odd kind of venue for JB.

He's not been filling the big venues for a few years now.
Except for small clubs, my preference would be to see him outdoors. I'm glad he's exploring smaller outdoor venues, there aren't a lot of mid-size ones like this.

This year's lineup is already announced, but he could always play the Carolina Country Music Festival next year. It's a beach town, the stage is set up just off the boardwalk and it's only a couple of miles from Margaritaville.

Yep. Michael McDonald, The Beach Boys, several country groups, local Darius Rucker. Many more I've forgotten. Oops, Willie Nelson. It's actually the perfect smaller venue if it's not raining. Great atmosphere. Maybe Jimmy's just squeezing this show in due to his local connections.

See you there too. But this post is from palmettoparrots not palmettopirate. Heck maybe that's a Steve too.
