G'morning Bill! Have a great time.
Rain this afternoon here, turning to snow overnight. Supposed to be around 6"+.
Tomorrow is a Celebration of Life party for my ex and my son's father.
Seeing Alton Brown on Saturday night.
Enjoy your weekend, friends.

'morning Bill & Penny
It sure is an ugly day here in PA. But, as more of our fellow BNers arrive our day will brighten!
So happy to host an event where folks who have "talked" here and on FB can finally meet in person!

Good morning. I'm still on eastern time, why else would I be awake before 7:00am.
It got really windy last night, I got a severe weather alert on my phone that there was the possibility of a dust storm. All the places along the strip that have outdoor seating didn't have outdoor seating last night. The tram that runs between the Excalibur, the Luxor and Mandalay Bay wasn't running and the monorail was closed. At least I got some exercise from all the walking.
There's a BBQ restaurant in NYC called Virgil's. It was a few blocks from my office and I ate there many times in my 13 years working in Rockefeller Center. They opened a Virgil's in the Linq Promenade, very close to the Flamingo, so I went there for dinner last night. Very disappointed. The food was average and the service was terrible. The only good thing about the meal was the Virgil's Ale, which is brewed by Magic Hat.

Wet weekend? That ain't the half of it! The past 2 months have been the wettest Feb-March in Seattle in 120 years. Earlier this week the talking weather heads were teasing us with a promise of 60 degrees today, but have now backed off to 58 degrees. We haven't seen 60 since last Nov 8th. I've lived in Seattle my whole life and the weather has never really bothered me, but this crappy weather is getting old! (Maybe because I'm getting old?)

Good Morning BN and Happy Friday!
Perfect day here on the Gulf Coast, 80 and sunny, low humidity.

I just had my first In-N-Out burger. Its better than your run of the mill fast food burger, but it's just a burger. Nothing special, in my opinion. At least I beat the crowd. The sign on the door says they open at 10:30. I walked by at 10:15 and saw someone go on so I went in too. There were 2 people in front of me.

Was that the one on the area in the Strip----near the Linq?

Yes, the one near the Linq. I'm staying at the Flamingo so it's right outside.

Ahoy! We drove 5+ hours in the rain. Big rigs were blowing clouds of mist on the interstate. Friends are picking us up for a trip to a Lancaster brewery. YUM!

I hate to be judgemental, but ...
I'm at the Beer Haus pounding beers that I can't get back home. One of the bartenders is a woman who is absolutely stunning. Except for a full sleeve of tattoos on her left arm. It's not my skin so it's none of my business, but in my opinion there is nothing attractive about tattoos. Flame away.

It wasn't open when we were there last trip. Glad to hear it is up and running.
You need to go to the race track....they drag race cars are moving really FAST. LOL
Maybe Alexis (Patron car) will give out samples.

I was in Vegas in December and In-N-Out wasn't open then either. No chance of me going to the race track. I'm not a fan of any kind of auto racing and there's enough for me to do within walking distance.
I have to go to Mandalay Bay tonight. The ACM Awards are in Vegas this weekend and there's a songwriter's showcase at a place called Mizuya at Mandalay Bay. One of the songwriters is Aubrie Sellers. She opened for Miranda Lambert at the North Charleston Coliseum and I thought she was really good. She's easy on the eyes too.

Seems like when we are in town, they have the Soul Train awards. LOL
Thanks, I'll pass
