I passed by a store that had a sign out front - BUY ANY 2 CANS OF BEER AND GET A FREE SHOT. Of what, penicillin?

Good afternoon! My phone decided to take a crap last night so my morning was spent at the phone store. And my afternoon has been spent setting up new phone and if course not all of my current contacts transferred to said new phone so there you go! Hope your day has been better than mine.

Yard House, besides having 100+ beers on tap, has something they call a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It made my mouth happy.

I didn't wake up until noon. That's because I got home around 3 AM from Davenport- the Quad Cities P.H.C. had their annual phlocking there, the featured bands were the Bamboozlers and Jimmy & the Parrots. They played from 6 PM until 1 AM, and I danced my a$$ off. (Did I say that)?
I won a HOOTERS gift basket in the silent auction.
Among some of the items in the basket- two bottles of wine, two wine glasses, a Mike Broward C.D., a coupon for 50 free wings at Hooters, and another Hooters coupon for a free appetizer. And since the nearest Hooters is in Davenport, I anticipate a return road trip there very soon.
Meanwhile, I'm watching opening day baseball- Giants vs. Diamondbacks.
