Good morning, or afternoon, depending on where you are. Time to start packing up and getting ready to check out of the hotel. My flight isn't until 11:45 tonight so I have time to kill. I'll have to go searching for some new beer again. Anal retentive freak that I am, I've been keeping track. I've had 20 new beers since I got here Thursday morning. Most of them have been in 4 ounce sample glasses so I haven't been hungover yet.

Nice day here -- sunny and fairly warm. Got the house pretty much back in order. You should see the trash & recycling piles though!! You would think we had a 3 day party with 40 people here or something !

I was sitting in the sports book watching the Mets beat the Braves. When the game ended I thought I'd take a walk to the Yard House, get something to eat and have a couple of beers I can't get back home. It's freakin' pouring. I either wait for it to stop raining or come up with Plan B.

Nothing exciting here. My first day of unemployment. Ran an errand for Mom, emptied the dishwasher, went to the grocery store, and making dinner. Fun Fun.

Ahoy! Anne called for an oil change at our local garage. The owner and son took the tilt bed truck on a pick up for a relative's car. Anne was told,"A bear ate the car." Seems it was chewing on it and the owner scared it off, but it came back smashed a window, crawled inside and demolished the interior!
I better clean the cookies out of my car.

The rain stopped so I made it to the Yard House. I don't know if this is a good thing but I'm more than 2,000 miles from home and 2 of the bartenders remembered me. One of them is a cute 20-something woman so that's perfectly understandable, but still.

I was having a great Monday, until after work and I walked the 2 blocks to my car (which was parked in the same spot I have been parking in for 4 months now) and got a freaking 20.00 parking ticket! To say I'm p*** is an understatement!

I'm back at the sports book watching baseball. Roughned Odor of the Texas Rangers is on pace to hit 324 home runs this year, and it's only the 3rd inning of opening day He played for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans back in 2013 when they were still in the Rangers organization. He was 19 years old and he was the best player on the team.

That's only $5.00 per month for parking... not too bad!
