Hi everyone! Hope your Wednesday is phantastic!

Good morning. The Pelicans are supposed to have a preseason game against the Charleston River Dogs tonight but we have a severe thunderstorm warning for pretty much the rest of the day. Tomorrow is the first game of the regular season but they're on the road for the first week, opening day at home is next Thursday.

I feel OK -- still sound like a 3-pack-a-day-smoker. (and a little tired)

1st day was great! And today he found errors on 2 travel expense forms so his supervisor is very happy

No rain yet but the wind is picking up and they added a tornado watch to the severe thunderstorm warning. The Pelicans' game is supposed to be at 6:00, if the weather guessers are right there won't be a game.

Another sunshiny day!

Ahoy! I delivered subs, slept, pruned and worked on my PEEP diorama. Last year, I bought PEEPS at half price after Easter to save on this project. The bunnies were fine, chicks, not so much.

It hadn't rained all day so I left for the ballpark. I was about halfway there (it's less than 10 miles away) and it started raining. Then a National Weather Service warning came on the radio about a tornado warning. I got to the ballpark, stopped to get a beer and started roaming around. A few minutes later the sky opened. About 10 minutes after that, they made an announcement that the game was cancelled. Two good things: 1. I get a rain check and can exchange it for a ticket to any game this year; 2. the beer stand I went to had 8 tap handles, 4 of them are beers I've never had before.
