Happy Easter everybody!
Headed to my dad's for brunch at 10 then to my cousin's for more food at 3. I'm gonna be a stuffed bunny tonight

We're headed to church. It's our 25th anniversary and our founding paster came up from Alabama to help celebrate. (After 17 yrs he stepped down as our paster and moved there when his 2nd kid enrolled in Auburn University). We were just told last week that our $1.8 million mortgage from 2003 has been PAID IN FULL! Won't that be an awesome surprise for Pastor David !!!

Then it's back home for some lunch and a few adult beverages before the kids and their significant others, along with Kevin's mom, come by around 4 for our Easter Buffet. This year, for the first time, we are having a "picnic-type" Easter meal.

Happy Easter, pholks.

Mr. Lime made traditional pizzagaina for brunch this morning, I'll make mimosas.

And lamb for dinner tonight.

Good morning. There were 2 big fat guys in the row in front of me at the Pelicans game last night, they didn't stop eating until they got up to leave at the end of the game. Nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, hot dogs again. It was never ending.

One of the beers they sell at the main concession stand behind home plate is Carolina Blonde. A lot of the game day employees are high school kids and most of them are girls so I refrain from smart a$$ comments. There was an older guy at one of the windows when I went to get a beer last night. I said "I'll have a Carolina Blonde, and a beer to go with it." He said "that's the best way to have one."

Happy Easter folks. Interesting week end so far. Friday evening Jaidyn, the granddaughter, fell off
her scooter and broke her finger and wrist. Last night I had to escort a drunken neighbor home from
my stepdaughter's house @ 11:30. Today lunch with Jeannette's family and then I visit my folks and
my grandson Lake.

My step mom asked me to bring a second bottle of champagne to make sure we had enough to make mimosas for everyone for brunch,
so I did.
Well she & I were the only ones drinking & we finished both bottles!
We had a great time. Now chilling before round 2 at my cousin's.
