HA!! that's a lot to type :)

I have a list from the bride-to-be.... but she is NOT a Bridzilla. In fact, she's so very casual about this it makes me nervous :-?

Weather is the biggest issue. The ceremony and reception are at a historical venue (in the firehouse) about 5 miles from us.

There is a tent attached to the firehouse since they are having one of the bars, some tables and yard games under it. But, for pictures we will need to walk around the museum grounds...that could be a little dicey. I just realized on Wed that she didn't have any umbrellas lined up so part of my job today is to grab them from another bride who faced the same issue back in October.

Hey -- at least I got Kevin's suit pants hemmed to the right length (after 2 tries with the "professional" seamstress :()

Pretty place!

Don't forget to give the mother of the bride some TLC too.

Buenas dias amigos.

Have fun with Corona, margaritas and tacos today. I will not be celebrating that but instead carrying on with yesterday's Star Wars because today is 'Revenge of the Fifth' and our band shell in the park is doing a movie night showing Star Wars Rogue One.
On the corner of 'Walk' and 'Don't Walk' somewhere on US 1.
He's just singing and ordering drinks.

Last night I was watching The Blacklist on NBC. Sometime around 10:40 they went to commercial. A minute or so later the weather guesser from the local NBC affiliate broke in with news that we had a tornado warning in the county where I live. They never went back to The Blacklist, just stayed on right into the 11:00 news talking about the tornado warning. I checked the local ABC and CBS stations and they did the same thing. I went to bed a little after midnight and all 3 channels were still covering the tornado warning. By that time it was raining pretty hard and it was very windy but as far as I know we didn't have a tornado, at least not in my part of the county.

"Happy Cinco de Mayo, Daniella!" chirped a ditzy blonde to my foreign exchange student in my high school art class. Daniella stared at the blonde, so she repeated her line. I told the blonde that Daniella was from Bolivia and didn't celebrate Cinco de Mayo. The blonde replied," I thought every body celebrated Cinco de Mayo!"

G'day BN'ers!!!!

Today, errrr no, tomorrow (well for you mob in the US) is Jean-Michel Cousteau's 79th birthday.

If, like me, you grew up watching "Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" and "Silent World" then you can send Jean-Michel birthday wishes here:
