Off from work today -- Judge's Orders . Had no plans so I think I'll mooch off of one of our 3 friends with an in-ground pool. Other than that we got nothing going on !

I was listening to the radio last night and the station has a woman DJ doing the 7pm-midnight shift on the weekend. When she signed off she said she hoped everyone who had a long weekend for the holiday was having fun. "But if you're like me and getting ready to go to bed, have fun with that too."

I went grocery shopping a little while ago and I don't really need any beer but I always stop at the make your own 6 pack section to see if they have anything new. The guy from the Beer Den was restocking the section and when he saw me he said "I can't really recommend anything because you've already had most of them." I found 5 that I haven't had yet.

Afternoon fly-by from NJ.

One of the local radio stations is hosting a Jersey rockers marathon so I have been singing my head off and reminiscing.

Mrs Rabz and I are back from our tropical sojourn to New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

Got home yesterday to frost and a 15°C day. (59°F).

Pretty relaxing day so far. Trip to the gym then to a friends for a few dips in her pool. Just had dinner on the deck. Darn. My beer is gone. I hate when that happens.

We had a wonderful concert in the town park with a fine local band. The bar crowd came out to hear the band, c Children played on the sidelines while fireflies brighten the summer dusk.
