July 20th, National Lollipop Day, is an annual observation of this popular and flavorful treat.
They always have tons of these at the boardwalk shops. I wonder how many they actually sell (or if the same ones come out year after year )

Good morning Linda. I consumed pops with a gum center for years. The gum was poor quality, but I chewed it anyway.

Morning BN. Had lollipops as a kid. Now, I'm not a fan of sweet stuff like candy. I do like 85% dark chocolate. And egg cream.

Good morning.
My next Pelicans game is tonight. The last time they played the team they're playing tonight one of the games was rained out so they have a doubleheader tonight. I'll finally be able to wear my Ernie Banks tribute jersey (other than wearing it at Buffett's Wrigley Field show last Saturday).

Time to head to the ballpark for the first game of the doubleheader. It didn't get as hot as it was supposed to this afternoon but the heat index is 100.
