Aloha! Slept late! Oh well, the shark shack had guests until 1 am last night. Looks like another steamy day. My hair is already out of control. Today we are attending "Artiepalooza." This is a memorial raft-up event on the river to raise funds against colon cancer. great local band will be playing and lots of hijinks on the water. My liver says send help!
Enjoy your Saturday!
I'm just tryin to get by, being quiet and shy, in a world full of pushin and shove

Good Morning Bill & Coleen!
Apparently, I missed this thread (since it was on PAGE 2 due to an entire page and then some of SPAM).
So -- any who.......we are in day 3 of a Heat Wave. Temps up near 100 again with no rain in sight.
Stay cool everyone !

73 right now up here in the Upper LH Corner (supposed to get to 78)... 36 days since the last measureable precipitation.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

No, fortunately (unfortunately?) we had record rainfall this past winter and all the mountain watersheds are at capacity.bodypainter wrote: ↑July 22, 2017 3:48 pmOuch!SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑July 22, 2017 3:29 pm 73 right now up here in the Upper LH Corner (supposed to get to 78)... 36 days since the last measureable precipitation.

Re: Summer and Saturday@ the MSC
When I bought Lucy Buffett's cookbook, the girl behind the counter in the store told me they were almost sold out and I should get to the book signing by 4:00 (it was supposed to start at 5:30). I got there a little before 4:30, it was 89 degrees and the heat index was 104. Luckily, it was set up indoors. Lucy showed up about 4:45, did an interview with a newspaper reporter, then started signing. I was back in my car driving home before 5:30. The first 10 people on line were given a free copy of the book, I was 5th. More free stuff. ![gt-happyup [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]](./images/smilies/gt-happyup.gif)
