Holy Humidity Batman! We finally got our much needed rain but oh the humidity. This will not be even close to a fair hair day for a lot of folks (me included).

It's currently 68 degrees with 46% humidity in Denver. And that's kinda on the higher side. That's one thing I don't miss about living in an area with humidity.

Aloha! Alternating downpours with sunshine here. Warm but not unbearable. Thinking of changing my screen name to Sister Frizzy Hair. Yesterday as I was cleaning up after the BBQ I twisted my ankle. Wonder if the multiple servings of my Dumpster Sangria had anything to do with it. Anyway I am icing and resting cause I gotta be in shape for tailgate walkabout in a few weeks!

That's why I stick to beer. The only injury I've ever gotten from drinking beer is a bruised ego.

My dentist disappointed me today, I didn't leave the office with the usual goodie bag of a new toothbrush, travel size tube of toothpaste and dental floss.

Pretty much the norm for summer in Seattle, we don't get too hot or too humid and just a little rain, but no rain at all isn't the way it used to be. Historically, July averages about 1", with 14 days with measureable precip. We just had the rainiest Sept-May on record and one of the warmest years on record, so I don't know what "normal" is any more.. The webbing between my fingers and toes is getting all dry and cracking.
