Today is National Chicken Wing Day so get out there and enjoy some wings.....

After a number of years of different establishments selling their version of Buffalo Wings, the city of Buffalo, NY in 1977 proclaimed July 29 to be National Chicken Wing Day. Establishments like the Anchor Bar, Wings n’ Things and Duff’s all became famous for their wings.

Good morning. I know a place where I can get good chicken wings but it's way too crowded on weekends so I'll pass.

Helping Mr. Lime set up his new garage this weekend. Also need to find a few hours to catch up on 'work' paperwork this weekend. So wings will be an nice easy dinner.

It was a bright sunny day when I woke up. There are some nasty looking dark clouds out there now.

Back in the day when I was burning off a lot of calories by working in the warehouse and playing rugby and sandlot tackle football,
it was nothing for me to sit down and eat 3 dozen wings. Alas those days are gone. I limit myself to a dozen now.

Hooters has an all you can eat wings promotion every now and then, I went once. An order of wings at Hooters is 10 wings. I made it to my 3rd order but couldn't finish them all, I think I had 25 or 26 and took the rest home for lunch the next day.

I used to over eat wings, but not now. !0 is the max.
I gave blood today. The tech had issues drawing test vials and needed help. I almost couldn't donate.

The Pelicans might be able to win a game tonight, I just checked their website and the opposing pitcher is Joan Baez. Isn't she almost 80 years old by now?

Mmmmm... I love wings. Now I want some.

Not a great weather day today, and we're about to head downtown to Coors Field to see Zac Brown Band. Hopefully the skies won't open up!!
