Myrtle Beach Mermen Night got rained out last night so I stopped at the box office on the way out and exchanged my ticket for a ticket to tonight's game. This weekend is the last time the Pelicans play the Salem Red Sox this season so they rescheduled last night's game as part of a doubleheader tonight. It's raining this morning and I checked the forecast, there's a 60% chance of rain the rest of the day. I hope they don't get rained out again, there are only 11 home games left after tonight and I already have tickets to 3 of them. I'm running out of options for rainchecks.

I almost forgot, Happy International Beer Day!!

Heard some great live music last night, an Irish guy named Steve Reilly with his trio. One of our local hangouts, Dublin House. They have an outside section called Temple Bar. The guy has a voice like Johnny Cash. Awesome renditions of Galway Girl and Dirty Old Town, among others. The weather was perfect, a balmy summer night.

Had a Guinness and a Smithwicks. Yummy.

Bill, I like your landsharks. That might be my choice for Camden!

I painted a lot of fins and flamingoes this year.The girl with #14 met Jimmy at the Paris show last fall.

Actually, probably won't be drinking to that. Watching the Grandson's as my daughter & new hub are off for weekend Honeymoon to the Michigan UP. Well, maybe a late night sip or 2....

I've had 2 good days in court, the 2 times I was admitted to the bar - New York and DC. It was all downhill from there.

Nothing going on tonight which is fine. Nice to just hang out in the AC (cuz it's almost 100 here).

Tomorrow Kevin works at Lancaster Home Brew; I have a memorial service for my good friend's significant other of 7 yrs who died unexpectedly and then off to former neighbors huge picnic where he's roasted 30 lbs of pork. Sunday we head to the local park to see ARLO GUTHRIE !!
