Good morning. I'm waiting for a locksmith to show up and check my front door lock. The last few days the key has been getting stuck and sometimes it's very hard to get it out after I unlock the door. I'm not very handy doing stuff around the house ( ) so instead of trying to fix it myself and making it worse, I'll let a professional handle it.

Possible that your key is a little bent, or they can spray inside the lock to lubricate it. Or you just need a new lock.

When I called, the guy asked me if I lived near the beach because salt air can effect the lock. I live about 2 1/2-3 miles inland, I don't know if that counts as "near" the beach. If the key wasn't bent before it might be now after all the jiggling around I've had to do the last few days to get it out of the lock.
