Good afternoon folks. Checking in from the beach in Ocean City Maryland. I'm here with 7 girlfriends so there's lots of laughter and imbibing Beautiful weather here. The ocean and condo pool water are great !!

It's 90 degrees, the heat index is 107, the sun's shining and there's a bright blue sky. It's also pouring down rain.

At the Myrtle Beach Speedway waiting for the show to start, I'm seeing The Magpie Salute. I know nothing about them, never heard any of their music, but the leader of the band is Rich Robinson. He was the guitar player in The Black Crowes and I always liked their music. One good thing, it cooled off a little and the heat index is under 100.
