The Pelicans lost last night so I didn't get to see their manager get his 2,000th win. I'm not going to tonight's game so I hate to root for them to lose, maybe they'll get rained out and I'll see them get the big win tomorrow night at Aug-toberfest, or Saturday at Party Like It's 1999 Night (1999 was the franchise's first year) or Sunday at the last home game of the season.

So... Harvey is now supposed to hit east of Corpus as a Cat 3. We are gearing up for a lot of rain in Houston since we are on the "dirty" side of it.

Glad we live farther inland, but we will probably still get some rain.

I three stooged a carpet into the closet after a shopping trip. I had a blackened blue cheeseburger for lunch at a diner Big John once got a poor meal(different owner). The burger was to die for!
I'm almost packed for a weekend that centers on the New York state fair. Beer, ice cream and music,Bay Bee!
