Maybe I missed, it but I just heard about what could be ts Irma this morn. It's been overcast to cloudy & pretty windy here all day & they are calling for rain for most of tomorrow.LIPH wrote: ↑August 28, 2017 2:58 pm Good afternoon. Yesterday was the Pelicans last home game of the season, they have 7 road games left before the playoffs start. It was Fan Appreciation Day and the first 1000 fans through the gates received a "mystery envelope." When I opened mine, there was a pack of baseball cards in it. The cards were from 2015.![]()
We're under a tropical storm watch "until further notice" and a flash flood warning until tomorrow morning. It started raining about an hour ago and the wind is picking up but it's nothing like what Texas has been getting so I won't complain.

Re: Move Over MONDAY @ the MSC
It's Tropical Storm Irma. I was getting weather alerts about it on my phone all afternoon when I was at the ballgame yesterday. And just as an aside, I see why the Pelicans almost never play day games. Game time was 3:05 yesterday and it was only about 80 degrees but the sun was just beating down. When I had more hair I wouldn't have minded a day like that but there isn't much covering the scalp anymore.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Re: Move Over MONDAY @ the MSC
Groundhog day continues here in the Upper LH Corner...
Today is our 61st consecutive day of 70+ daytime temps, and the 71st day of no rain (other than .02" 15 days ago.)
September 2016 thru June 2017 was our wettest "rainy season" on record with 47.24" of rain.
Houston has more than that in the past few days! Stay dry MsMolly!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Ahoy!
The New York sate fair was awesome! We saw Lynyrd Skynyrd and Earth Wind and Fire(for awhile). We left early to keep from getting stuck in a traffic jam. The fair attendance on Sunday was 123,000. There was a body art booth that charged 10$ for a two colored shark stenciled.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
