WDS about Texas. I just got a text from a friend who lives in The Woodlands ( about 40 Miles North of Houston). I'm happy to say he and his family is safe , he even still has power. His wife ( she makes the big bucks) got Transferred there , back in April or May from CT.

IT'S RAINING!!!!!
The videos from our area are awful. All the roads are flooded.
We are fine....thank goodness for this hill!!!!
But we couldn't go anywhere if we wanted to. I had an eye dr appt this afternoon, but that isn't going to happen

Thank you for posting the link. Samson's rescue showed how great a community can be when they come together. The other pics of the flooding are so sad.

Good afternoon. Yesterday was the Pelicans last home game of the season, they have 7 road games left before the playoffs start. It was Fan Appreciation Day and the first 1000 fans through the gates received a "mystery envelope." When I opened mine, there was a pack of baseball cards in it. The cards were from 2015.

We're under a tropical storm watch "until further notice" and a flash flood warning until tomorrow morning. It started raining about an hour ago and the wind is picking up but it's nothing like what Texas has been getting so I won't complain.

I went to quite a few shows at City Winery when I still lived on the Island of Long, but I never saw Mac there. It's a nice little venue, even though I always ordered beer instead of wine.
